He's waaaalking...or at least trying very hard! It's super cute to watch :)

Lucas is feeling a lot better! Temperature very close to normal, but still a bit whiiiiney. But maybe that part is just the usual toddler frustration thing. Watch out when he's frustrated 'cause he can't figure something out, open it, etc!!! Haha.

Here's a few photos of the day. We had to have yet another mostly indoor day, as it rained a fair bit. We did manage to sneak out for a walk during a break in it though :) Lucas was very happy to get out!

My Fever

I have a fever today :(

I woke up this morning and it started off as usual. I snacked on my Cheerios and drank my milk, while watching Barney. I played with my toys and ate my breakfast. Then, I got grumpy. My Mommy picked me up and I was HOT. I had a temperature of 102 F. I took some Advil and had a nap. I woke up and didn't want lunch. My temperature was then 101.9. My Mommy went out to get me some Tylenol (clearly, the Advil wasn't working!) and I played with my Dad.

When Mommy got home, my temperature was 103.6! This is how I looked...

I look very sad, don't I?

Maybe a cold cloth will help!


Mommy, it's time for another nap!

Ta-Da! This is me after my second nap! Don't I look better? My temperature is now 100.6, much better, but still sick.

Perhaps a few goldfish will hit the spot!

Later on: More Tylenol, a bath and tuck me into bed. My temperature at bedtime: 101.6, wish me a good sleep and a better day tomorrow! :)

A Few Things

The boys love to check out what the other is eating! Sometimes they eat alone, sometimes they eat together. All depends who's napping/when. This day, Lucas had just finished up his lunch and wanted to see up close what Nathan had.

"Eww, ham. Disgusting!" Haha. Nathan LOVES ham and brings it in his lunch everyday. Lucas HATES it. Sooo funny!

Wearing his slippers the other morning. His hands and feet get sooo cold with the heat pump running! Here he is, doing some 'organizing'. His new favourite thing. He likes to rearrange all the toys amongst the shelving...and watch Barney while doing so!

BUSTED!...giving the dogs Cheerios!

He loves to stand here and demand we play his music. There are a couple songs about ducks on the cd, so he walks up to the stereo and says "ack, ack" (sounds more like "aa, aa")

Haha.

The Beach

What a lovely weekend! First, we had Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Allan over for Grandma's birthday lunch...sorry, apparently I should've made sure I had batteries charged. No pictures that day! Lucas had lots of fun playing with his Grandma and LOVED her birthday cupcakes too :)

The next day: off to the beach! We took Lucas to Westwood Lake, very close to our house. He LOVED it. We'll be going back for sure! :)
