Furry Friend and Funny Face

Lucas and Finn sure can have fun together. Finn runs around Lucas like a maniac and Lucas tries to catch him. Lucas thinks it's sooooo funny! It's very hard to get good pictures of though...since they are moving so fast!

I couldn't resist getting the camera this morning when I was outside and Lucas started pressing his face to the glass! Hahahahahaha.

Rathtrevor Beach

Firstly, you may have noticed the blog "scenery" has changed again. I like a change now and again in my colours/fonts and this brand new template is nice and 'fresh'. What do you think of it? Better than the black?

This afternoon we headed of to Parksville for a visit with family and some beach playtime. It was a big hit with Lucas! He looooved playing in the sand. He had so much fun!

Beban Park

Yesterday was a gorgeous afternoon, so Lucas and I decided to hit the park, while Pat.......dug holes for fence posts. Yuck!

"Do we need any cookbooks for the park, Mom?"

"I've got my shoes on, are you ready?"
(He really does try to put his shoes on...and socks too. Is he anywhere near successful? No. But he gets the concept.)
Right before I took this photo, I sprayed sunscreen on him and rubbed it in. Once he watched me do that, he rubbed his legs, then his hair, legs, then hair. Sigh. To start out the day, he put peanut butter toast in his hair!

A Rare Sight

NEWSFLASH: Our child actually had an afternoon nap today...and it was without a fight. 2:15, lights out. After 2.5 hours, I decided it was time to wake that boy up..it was nearly 5pm!
Rarely do we get to see this...

So peaceful, so sweet.

Sigh. How do you wake that sweet boy when he's so peaceful?

With difficulty. He was so groggy!

Another Haircut

The time has come again for another haircut, so that's just what we did today! The poor, poor hairdresser. This time Lucas screamed the entire time and I'm sure the entire mall could hear him too! Yikes.
