Daaaadddaaaa!

Whenever anybody is in the bathroom, Maliya likes to peek under the door and YELL "Daaaadddaaa" over, and over....and over again.  It drives Lucas NUTS, and he yells "QUIIIET!!!!!"

Clean-Up Kid

This is my clean-up kid.  We were putting away the Hallowe'en decorations one day and it was pouring rain.  I asked Lucas if he wanted to get the outside stuff and he was thrilled.  I told him to get his boots on, so he did, and then said "I need my raincoat too!".  I said "nah, just go like that", so he did.  He seemed surprised, but eager!  Firetruck undewear and rainboots.  Priceless.  He was soaking wet from 1 minute of it, but thought that was so funny!

Happy Hallowe'en 2012

What a GREAT Hallowe'en!  I took Lucas to StrongStart in the morning, and he got to go in the school parade to show off his costume.  He was thrilled to see Paige, who attends that school.  He asked aaaaall day long if it was time to trick-or-treat.  He was super excited!

Off we go for some trick-or-treating fun!  After POURING rain all day, suddenly it stopped, just in time to leave!

All set to hand out the candy!  The ladybug retired into her jammies!



One of many 'scary' houses.  Lucas was not scared at all!  We saw a skelton laying on the ground at one house and he said "MOMMY!  That guy fell down!!!"  Hahahaha.

Maliya figured out the whole trick-or-treat thing pretty quickly!  She found her own bag and asked Pat for candy!







Holy SMOKES, Fireman!  Good thing he's super great at sharing his candy!  There's no way I'd let him eat all that!  He got to enjoy several pieces on the first night though!







His last 'treat' before bed?  Pat had been to the dentist that day and they sent him home with a truck for Lucas.  He had his own cleaning the day before, but the Dentist and his wife forgot to bring in the cars and trucks they had bought.  He was sent home with a toothbrush and bouncy ball with the promise that they'd give a truck for Pat to bring home.  He was SO excited!

What a great Hallowe'en evening with my boy.  He was so sweet and had sooo much fun!  Definitely the most fun Hallowe'en thus far!
