Greaseball

Does it look like Lucas hasn't had his hair washed in 3 weeks? Nope, that's not it. He (err, his hair) had bread with butter at dinner tonight. Off to the bath we go!

Trail Walk

Every chance we get, on nice days, either Pat, or I, (or both!), take Lucas for a walk/ride in his blue car. He knows exactly which point he's allowed to get out of the car and start walking...and he gets very excited for it! We do a loop of our neighbourhood, which includes a trail where there are horses on one property...and goats at another!

Today, we decided to bring Nathan for the first time. Usually on the days he's with us, we stick the road.

So happy to be on the loose!

Meet Lucas' friends. He loves these goats, and waves 'hi' and 'bye' each time. He also 'calls' them bye smacking his lips. Ultra cute.

The big one on the right is clearly the boss. Often times s/he chases the other two off when we arrive and if they try and come back, more chasing...and then it's head-butting time. Lucas gets a real kick out of that!

Swimming Lessons!

Lucas started swimming lessons yesterday! He was a little nervous at first, but he had a blast!

Alright, lessons are done. Time to PLAY!!!

Nope, not a swimming picture, but I had to share this. Lucas pulled my apron out of the drawer and gave it to me when I started to cook dinner, so I thought he might like to wear one too. Little did his Uncle Allan know when he made this apron at school 20+ years ago, that he would have a nephew wearing it one day!

New Game

This is Lucas' new favourite thing. It can be verrry difficult to get any work done with him around!

Somersaults and Vampires

Lucas has been practising his somersaults...and he's getting good. Very hard to catch on camera though!

The vampire is back. Well, he never left, he just took a break, I guess. He got him good this time, blood and all. I decided that every vampire victim deserves a cupcake for dinner :)
