A few days ago, I switched Lucas' carseat to forward-facing, so I was eager to see his reaction the next day! When I first put him in, he didn't really seem to notice, but when I got in the drivers' seat and turned around, he gave me a HUGE smile. Each and every time I turned around on the car ride to baby group, he gave me a huge smile. So, I think it's safe to say he enjoys facing the "right" way. He can see a lot more now and he's clearly enjoying looking out the window too!

Well, it didn't look so sweet on Thursday when he got his 12 month immunizations. YIKES! He had to get a total of 4 shots, 2 in each arm. YOUCH! I had to sit him on my lap, with one arm pinned in my armpit, his legs between my legs, and pin down the remaining arm while the nurse gave the needles. He was less than impressed with her...especially when she gave a sticker at the end. No sticker was going to make this boy forget that he just got stabbed 4 times for no apparent reason.
He was smiling and chatting with an 18 month girl in the waiting room just 5 minutes later...
Onto todays events...
It's SO much fun when Mom forgets there's a box of Kleenex on the floor and goes to do the dishes...

The boys heading out for a walk on a gorgeous sunny afternoon!

This is my "cousin", Maggie
