Easter Festivities

Decorating for Easter (Friday)

Note to readers: this display has since changed. Numerous times. On numerous surfaces.

Friday afternoon Easter egg hunt! Did any of them actually care about the eggs strewn about the yard? Nope. The toys were much more fun. This is just some of 'the gang' at Quintin's house.

Lucas and Nash, having a 'ball'.

I had to include this picture because it describes pretty much every 2 year old at the party. They'd find a cookie laying around, take a bite, and toss it for another kid to discover in 2 minutes. It's very doubtful that any one child ate any one cookie from start to finish. And we wonder where they all get colds from?

We 'tried' to get a picture of Lucas and Carter.

Part of the group before the chaos and running off! Oh, and see that slide? The kids LOVED it!

Somebody was finally pooped out and decided to go home!

Saturday: taking some of his "new" clothes for a ride in his shopping cart! Our neigbour (with 2 boys) brought over a giant bag full of clothes for Lucas! Some great finds are in that pile!

See the new haircut, too? Another tragic 20 minutes in the life of Lucas.

Easter Sunday! The Easter Bunny left a huge trail of eggs to collect.

The only problem? This boy doesn't 'collect' eggs in a basket. He likes to eat them along the way! Thankfully, I was able to stash some aside when he wasn't looking, or he would've eaten 1000 lbs of chocolate before 8am. Instead, he consumed just 500 lbs.

"Ooooh, and he left me a basket too!"

Lucas thought the stuffing should come out of the basket!

Finn, guarding his find :)

Of course, now that it's all over he carries the basket!

Cool dude in his new shades!

Pose #2. He was in the bathroom to see what the glasses looked like :)

And that, my friends and family...is where the Easter photos ended. The reason, you ask? Because that is where the happiness ended. Children who consume chocolate for breakfast are horrible companions for the rest of the day! Of course, I might be a little dramatic, he was good at my Mom's house (for some of the time), and there were bits of the afternoon that were ok, but for the most part, there was a whooole lot of crying going on over such trivial things...or for reasons unknown.
