Our New Friend

Meet Nathan. He'll be coming to our house for daycare Tues, Wed, Thurs for the summer while his Mom and Dad are working. He is 3 months younger than Lucas and a very sweet boy. And soooo tiny next to Lucas...I feel like Lucas is a giant now after a day with Nathan!
Day #1 went well, let's hope the rest of the week does too! :)

Upon arrival...all is well.

Sunny Saturday

Ahh, a beautiful Saturday afternoon :)
Louise and Alyssa came for a "sleepover" and we were lucky enough to have some sunshine for the afternoon! Allan and Paige also came over for the afternoon and dinner. :) I wish I'd taken more pictures of the kids playing, as I'm now realizing I didn't get any of Paige and Alyssa, who quickly became buddies. :)

Another year, another Canada Day for Lucas.

There were no outdoor celebration's to be had by us this year. We may have taken Lucas down to the waterfront for some kids music, etc....but it was a rainy kinda' day! Instead, Lucas and I headed off to Grandma's for a visit...while Pat changed the burners in the BBQ.

Notice the tan? Yep, that definately comes from his Dad's family! :)

Lucas and Finn sure can have fun together. Finn runs around Lucas like a maniac and Lucas tries to catch him. Lucas thinks it's sooooo funny! It's very hard to get good pictures of though...since they are moving so fast!

I couldn't resist getting the camera this morning when I was outside and Lucas started pressing his face to the glass! Hahahahahaha.
